Fishing

Off-Roading
The surrounding Inyo National Forest is home to miles of unpaved roads for motorcycles, ATVs and four-wheel drive SUVs. Travel the backroads to lakes, forests and mountain lookouts. Explore the Hot Creek Road, Inyo Craters and more. Maps are available at the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center, or at there booth here at track. REMEMBER TO STAY ON OPEN, MARKED ROADS.
Mountain Biking
Mammoth Mountain Bike Park features over 100 miles of trails – from easy, breezy paths to adrenaline-pumping downhill courses. A favorite way to ride Mammoth Mountain starts with a breathtaking scenic gondola ride up to the 11,053-foot summit, and then a bike ride down from there. Mammoth Mountain Bike Park is scheduled to open for summer operations June 21, 2008, conditions and weather permitting.
Exploring the Sierra
Do you enjoy hiking, backpacking, and camping? Take your pick from short, mile-long hiking trails around the Lakes Basin to longer adventures. Campsites are located in the town of Mammoth Lakes, Reds Meadow, and beyond. Go on a day-trip adventure to Yosemite National Park or Devils Postpile National Monument and Rainbow Falls.
